Bible verse of the day
· a new verse every morning
Today's Bible verse is Romans 15:13 — “Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope in the power of the Holy Spirit.” Everyone who opens this page today gets the same verse: one of twenty-six passages in a published rotation, quoted from the World English Bible, changing each morning. Free to read, no account needed.
Hope is the thing being given, not the thing being demanded of you. Paul prays for it to be filled in from outside rather than worked up from inside.
More in the same vein: Bible verses about hope.
The week ahead
Nothing here is a surprise — the rotation is published, so you can read ahead, pray ahead, or pick the one you want to sit with on Sunday.
“Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.”
“Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid or scared of them; for the LORD your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you.”
“Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path.”
“Bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do.”
“The testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.”
“You will keep whoever's mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you.”
“For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.”
Looking back instead? Every day since July 28, 2026 is in the verse of the day archive, each verse on the date it was live.
How the verse is chosen
Not at random, and not by what is trending. Twenty-six passages sit in a fixed order, and the order matters: comfort is followed by challenge, challenge by gratitude, so no week lands entirely on one note and a hard verse is never followed by another hard one.
Everyone reading on the same day gets the same verse. That is the small thing that makes it shareable — you can text someone about it and know they have already seen it.
Every verse in the rotation
Twenty-six in all. If one of them is the verse you needed today rather than the one the calendar handed you, take that one instead.
